Abstract | The report includes previously unpublished data on the circulation and movements seasonally of the sea waters, waves and winds off the coast of Georgia. A description of the seasonal changes in hydrographic conditions along the Georgia coast and especially Sapelo Island are summarized. Sea waters were analyzed for temperature, salinity, conductivity, pH, turbidity and dissolved oxygen content and for seasonal changes in these properties. The offshore sea waters were then classified and mapped as consistent water masses and their seasonal movements and distributions were traced for the general coast of Georgia and for Sapelo Island.
