Abstract | The Chesapeake Bay watershed is one of our most important natural resources. The 64,000 square mile area that drains to the Chesapeake Bay, called the watershed, is home to a wide variety of organisms, including birds, shellfish, trees, fish, and humans. With so many dependent upon the Bay watershed, it is critical to protect and restore it. |
