Abstract | The feasibility was studied of applying a groundwater management model to the Ogallala aquifer of the Oklahoma Panhandle. The Texas Tech Model was applied to a portion of the Oklahoma Ogallala, and parametric studies were made to determine the sensitivity to variability in input data. Parameters varied were permeability, coefficient of storage and flow from wells. The model proved sensitive to changes in the coefficient of storage. Also studied were the legal, economic, and physical factors affecting groundwater in Oklahoma. (Author) |
