Abstract | The document summarizes the objectives and outlines the methodologies of the several intensive water quality sampling programs being conducted as part of or in coordination with the Dallas/Fort Worth '208' areawide water quality management planning process. These include an in-depth field study of the impact of land use on Lake Ray Hubbard, Trinity River continuous automated monitors and water/sewage treatment plant sampling during storm events, river bottom sediment analysis, and several urban/nonurban runoff sampling activities.
