Abstract |
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has completed its review of public comments on the revised ametryn risk assessments and is issuing its risk management decision for ametryn. There are currently 14 tolerances being reassessed for ametryn. The revised risk assessments are based on review of the required target data base supporting the use patterns of currently registered products and additional information received. After considering the risks identified in the revised risk assessment, comments, and mitigation suggestions from interested parties, EPA developed its risk management decision for uses of ametryn that pose risks of concern. As a result, the Agency has determined that ametryn containing products are eligible for reregistration provided that data needs are addressed, risk mitigation measures are adopted, and labels are amended accordingly. The decision is discussed fully in this document. |
