Abstract | Considering the proprietary nature of both the Chemfix and N-Viro Soil technologies, this technology evaluation report is not intended to be a design manual for alkaline stabilization processes. It is, rather, a guidance document to assist municipalities in their evaluation of alkaline stabilization as a possible sludge management alternative. The report highlights design and operating aspects of two alkaline stabilization technologies. It is not intended to single out one design or technology as superior to another. |
