Abstract | The identification and quantitation of potential chemical pollutants and their metabolites in human adipose tissue are of great importance for monitoring human exposure to these environmental compounds. The two highly chlorinated phenols, pentachlorophenol (PCP) and hexachlorophene (2,2-methylenebis (3,4,6-trichlorophenol)) (HCP), are widely used, and the article establishes the extent of their storage in human adipose tissue. |
