Abstract | This decision document represents the selected remedial action for the ground water at the Syntex Agribusiness, Inc. site near Verona, Missouri. EPA believes that no further remedial action is necessary for ground water at the site to ensure protection of human health and the environment. Previous and ongoing remedial responses under operable unit 1 have greatly reduced the threat from past sources of contamination. Ground and surface water monitoring will continue for two years following the issuance of this record of decision. An assessment will be conducted by EPA at the end of the monitoring program to ensure that this remedy remains protective of human health and the environment. |
