Abstract | The report covers (a) the improvement of steady-state mathematical models of stream water quality for Houston '208' area, addressing each segment individually and (b) stormwater models to predict BOD/DO and coliform concentrations in-stream during periods of unsteady flow in the streams of each designated segment. Inclusive within each study area are: (1) a general description of the study area along with past and present water quality conditions, (2) summarization of waste dischargers, (3) the choice of model and significant physical and chemical parameters, (4) results of model calibration/verification attempts, (5) analysis to determine sensitivity of model parameters, and (6) actual use of the model. |
