Abstract |
In 1985, color aerial photography at a scale of 1:12,000 was used to map submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) in the Maryland section of the Chesapeake Bay, while black and white photography at a scale of 1:24,000 was used to map the Virginia section. A total of 19,390 hectares was mapped in 1985, a 26% increase over that reported in 1984. The report represents an effort to combine all the SAV information for 1985 into one cohesive baywide product. |
