Abstract |
The report was prepared as part of the Ohio River Basin Enery Study (ORBES), a multidisciplinary policy research program. It addresses regional and interstate approaches to power plant siting and operations in the ORBES study region, which consists of all of Kentucky and substantial portions of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Among the topics covered are power plant impacts in the federal context, interstate air quality conflicts and available remedies, air quality control possibilities, water-related considerations, and the interstate structure of the power industry. |
