Abstract |
The Schmalz Dump site is located in the town of Harrison, Wisconsin, on the north shore of Lake Winnebago. The site occupies approximately five acres of wetland in the federally designated Waverly Beach Wetlands area. According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and court documents, industries dumped wastes at various locations along the north shore of Lake Winnebago for several years. The selected remedial action includes excavation and offsite disposal of 3,500 cubic yards of contaminated building debris. |
