Abstract | Two limestone-filled, artificial substrate samplers for the collection of macroinvertebrates in large streams are described, and summary data from three sampling locations is given. The samplers facilitate the collection of stoneflies, caddisflies, mayflies, midges, coelenterates, and bryozoans which are often difficult to obtain with dredges in large streams. |
