Abstract | Variability and inaccuracies in aircraft gas turbine emission measurements caused by calibration gases, instrument precision, sampling errors, engine setting precision, and ambient condition effects continue to be of major concern. Understanding and/or resolution of these factors is critical to the development of a unified measurement procedure. This report details and provides analysis of the various factors contributing to emission measurement inaccuracy. Discussion is presented for all major sections and components of the emission sampling system. |
