Abstract |
Using aerial photographs and direct aerial observations, the study identified and characterized 84 diked tidelands along the Washington, Oregon and northern California coasts where dikes had been breached. To the extent available, information is provided on location, elevation, time since breaching, and a contact point for further information. Recommendations are provided for functional assessment of six of the breached diked sites including a scope of study that could be pursued. |
