Abstract |
The report presents the results of preliminary data analyses conducted by the Asthma Health Outcomes Project (AHOP), a project conducted through a cooperative agreement between Allies Against Asthma at the Center for Managing Chronic Disease, University of Michigan School of Public Health and the Indoor Environments Division of the US Environmental Protection Agency. It includes quantitative findings from initial analyses of data collected from 111 published asthma programs, a subset of more than 500 programs worldwide identified by AHOP. Forthcoming analyses will refine these observations and further explore the dataset. In addition, this report presents qualitative data from 223 programs published and unpublished that describe challenges to and strengths of program processes. In future analyses these data will also be more fully explored. |
