Abstract |
The relationship between wastewater treatment plant operator training and plant performance in Texas was studied using three different approaches: An analysis of the performance of a sample of plants involved in Operation Cleansweep, a Texas Water Quality Board (WQB) project to clean up the poorest performing plants in the state; a survey of WQB field supervisors and their staffs to determine which plants had improved as a result of training and why that improvement had taken place; a statistical correlation of operator training completed and level of plant performance for a sample of 124 plants. |
