Abstract |
The WMAC team at the University of Tennessee performed an assessment at a plant that manufactures gear cases for outboard motors. The teams's report, detailing findings and recommendations, indicated that absorbent socks and leaked oil and coolant are generated in large quantities, and that significant cost savings could be achieved by eliminating the use of the absorbent socks by constructing containment areas around the machines. |
