Abstract | In the article, reports on the isotope composition of the sulfur which forms a part of the different compounds dissolved in subterranean waters is examined by classes according to the origin of the waters. The isotopic composition of sulfur of stratal water sulfates has been studied in connection with the problem of the origin of petroleum (specifically, the sulfur of petroleum), and of hydrogen sulfide in casing-head and fuel gases. |
