Abstract | Daily doses of methacrylamide were administered percutaneously to separate groups of newborn rabbits; controls received vehicle. At 5 weeks, one-half of the rabbits in each group were killed. The remaining rabbits, which received the highest dose of each compound, were removed from treatment and observed for 7 weeks. Those rabbits receiving the lower doses were continued on treatment. All of the animals were killed at 12 weeks. |
