Abstract |
A bioassay of Vinyl Acetate was conducted at the Frederick Cancer Research Center (FCRC), Frederick, Maryland in male and female F344 rats. Histology slides generated from this bioassay were submitted to Experimental Pathology Laboratories, Inc. for histopathologic interpretation. The experimental design of this study is summarized in the report below: Histology slides prepared by FCRC were present from all rats except Group MO male, Animal No. 33 and Group AAK male, Animal No. 5. Slides submitted for one female rat in Group MO were from a mouse. Group MO female rat, Animal No. 36, had a section of gallbladder with the liver and all lobes of the lung were present on the same slide. Additionally, an alveolar/bronchiolar adenoma, typical of the type found in aged mice, was present in the lung. |
