Abstract |
A description of the design and construction of a meter capable of measuring scattered levels of irradiance (power density) resulting from the operation of low power, continuous wave, helium-neon gas lasers is presented. Readily available components are used and the techniques for calibration and use of the instrument are discussed. The instrument responds to irradiances of 10 microwatts/sq. cm. or greater depending on the aperture size selected by the user. (Author) |
