Abstract | This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Woodlawn Landfill site (the Site) located in Colora, Cecil County, Maryland. The remedial action selected for the Site is a final remedy which will address contaminated ground water, contaminated soils, and wastes buried at the Site. The ground water contamination represents a significant threat. Therefore, remediation of contaminated ground water will be required. The wastes and contaminated soils at the Site pose a relatively low long-term threat. Therefore, the wastes and contaminated soils will be addressed through a combination of engineering and institutional controls. |
