Abstract | Bilge oils, lubricants, and solvents are generated be shipping operations and treated in an oil water separator before disposal. To improve cold weather operation and meet an anticipated increase in waste volume, it is proposed that the oil/water separation, system be upgraded. A new coalescing separator waste storage tank, improved heating elements, water transfer equipment, and a 3-inch line from the existing separator will be installed. |
