Abstract |
Thermophysical properties have been reported for a number of fluorinated ethers and perfluoro ethers. The present paper reports results for the final members of the series of compounds chosen for study. New measurements for CF3OCF2CF2CF3 and c-CF2CF2CF2CF2O are reported from T = 235 K to the critical temperature. Volumetric results for liquid CF3OCF2OCF3 and CF3OCF2CF2H are reported for 235 < T/K < 303 supplementing the values given earlier for these compounds. The compounds are of interest as possible substitutes for environmentally unacceptable chlorofluorocarbons used as refrigerant working gases and blowing agents.
