Abstract | 2-Acetylaminoflorene, 4-acetylaminofluorene, benzo(a)pyrene and pyrene were evaluated in the rat liver foci bioassay for their ability to initiate gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase-positive foci. Under the conditions used, 2-acetylaminofluorene and benzo(a)pyrene were active in the assay while 4-acetylaminofluorene and pyrene were not active. |
