Abstract |
Recognizing the importance of percolation in the environmental assessment of a potential leachate problem at a land disposal site, the paper analyzes the factors effecting percolation and its relationship to leachate generation and discusses a methodology to estimate leachate generation. The methodology is based on the water balance method commonly used in the soil and water conservation fields. |
