Under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, Public Health Service, National Center for Radiological Health, and the Department of National Health and Welfare, Radiation Protection Division, Ottawa, Canada, the International Conference on 'Guidelines to Radiological Health' was held at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, August 1967, to discuss radiological health problems, as presented by a group of experts. Speakers from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Japan presented papers on three major topics: Radiation Injury, Preventive Measures, and Sources of Radiation and Epidemiology, and included the fields of diagnostic and therepeutic radiation, industrial exposure to radiation, changes induced by irradiation of nutritional elements, and radioecological concentration processes.
