Abstract |
The basic rationale used in the preparation of a series of guides for short-term exposure to air pollutants are presented. The assumptions underlying guide preparation are given. The factors and considerations in guide preparation are outlined. The evaluation of the relationship between exposure to a pollutant and its effect on the population are discussed. Also included is a discussion of the selection of short-term Public Limits and Public Emergency Limits. (APCO abstract) |
