Abstract | Man's relation to his environment is changing precipitately, especially in terms of the complex problems of health resulting from new developments in science and technology. The Conference on 'Man Versus Environment' is designed to focus attention on the status of these problems in the major fields of water supply, water pollution, air pollution, food technology, and occupational health. It is the purpose of the Conference to evaluate the inter-relationships of new developments, to survey the status of research and training needs, and to determine areas in which activities should be initiated or expanded. |
