Abstract | The fact sheet summarizes the information in the RED document for reregistration case 0001, metolachlor. Metolachlor is a broad spectrum herbicide used for general weed control in many agricultural food and feed crops (primarily corn, soybeans and sorghum), and on lawns and turf, ornamental plants, trees, shrubs and vines, rights of way, fencerows and hedgerows, and in forestry. Ground application is the use method of choice for all sites, although aerial, irrigation, and chemigation application methods also are permitted. |
