Abstract | This report was done in 1971 when there was no single source of data on the environmental effects of pesticides. It is a comprehensive compilation of published data. The judgments on what to include and what not to include are those of the author, though many individuals in the Federal government offered suggestions and critical review during its preparation. It is published by the Office of Science and Technology as received from the author in the belief that it will be a very useful contribution to the public discussion of pesticides. The report contains information on an extensive number of insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. |
