Abstract |
Jacksonville Electric Authority and Florida Power and Light Company propose to jointly construct a new source 1,200 megawatt coal-fired steam electric generating station known as the St. Johns River Power Park on a 1,656 acre site in northern Duval County, Florida. Station operation is scheduled to begin in 1985. This document assesses the proposed project and alternatives with respect to impacts on the natural and man-made environments. Measures available to mitigate adverse impacts are evaluated. |
