Abstract |
Exxon Chemical Americas is a manufacturer or processor of eight chemical substances subject to the TSCA Section 8(d) reporting rules published in the September 2, 1982 Federal Register. In a search of our Industrial Hygiene records, we do not have any reports which meet the criteria of the regulation and are thus subject to reporting. However, we recognize that one of the principal objectives of this part of the rule is to provide information on the occupational exposure of these compounds, so that a more scientifically-sound risk assessment may be developed. In the spirit of achieving that goal, Exxon Chemical Americas has provided the following summaries of Industrial Hygiene Monitoring data for these substances: Isophorone; mesityl oxide; methyl isobutyl ketone; methyl ethyl ketone; toluene; ethylene oxide; and diisononyl; and dihexyl phthalate. |
