Abstract |
Chapter 2 provides a review of current literature addressing multiobjective analysis techniques decision support systems (DSS) characteristics, and DSS development techniques. Chapter 3 describes the approach employed to gather background information on current management procedures at EPA, summarizes the program limitations that were found and outlines the functions and requirements of a useful DSS. Chapter 4 describes the features of the prototype DSS that was developed in this research and evaluates these features against the requirements established in the previous chapter. Chapter 5 guides the reader through a sample prioritization session using the prototype's water module. Finally, in Chapter 6, potential benefits and limitations of the prototype are evaluated and recommendations for future work are given. |
