Abstract |
The final rule begins to implement section 402(p) of the Clean Water Act of the Water Quality Act of 1987 which requires the Environmental Protection Agency to establish regulations setting forth National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit application requirements for storm water discharges associated with industrial activity; discharges from a municipal separate storm sewer system serving a population of 250,000 or more; and discharges from municipal separate storm sewer systems serving a population of 100,000 or more, but less than 250,000. |
