Abstract |
The proceedings document presentations made during the symposium, which dealt with the status of flue gas desulfurization technology in the United States and abroad. Subjects considered included: regenerable, non-regenerable, and advanced processes; process costs; and by-product disposal, utilization, and marketing. The purpose of the symposium was to provide developers, vendors, users and those concerned with regulatory guidelines with a current review of progress made in applying processes for the reduction of sulfur dioxide emissions at the full- and semi-commercial scale. |
