Abstract |
The presentation gives some of the available methods for analyzing and evaluating effects of biologically degradable organic wastes on stream quality. The indicator of water quality used throughout this manual is the dissolved oxygen content (D. O.), while the measure used for expressing organic pollution in the following discussions and calculations is the bio-chemical oxygen demand (BOD). |
