Abstract |
Merpol SE caused necrotic reactions on the shaved intact skin of 6 rabbits after a 24 hour application. At 48 hour, there was no improvement. This material is a severe skin irritant and may produce necrosis. All contact should be avoided. Protective clothing should be worn when handling. Good industrial hygiene practices would be to immediately wash any contaminated area thoroughly with soap and water and get medical attention. |
