Abstract |
The report represents the findings of the Indoor Air Quality and Total Human Exposure Committee study of the opportunities for advances in the field of exposure assessment. The Committee noted that early recognition of the nature and extent of potentially adverse exposures could be of immense benefit in avoiding adverse effects to public health and ecological systems. They encourage the Agency to develop integrated research programs to track and apply these developments to monitoring and assessment models, to work constructively to improve and validate exposure assessment models, to collaborate widely with governments and industry, to promote improvements in databases, and employ interdisciplinary teams to address exposure problems. |
