Abstract | As the result of screening elastomeric materials that may be suitable for formulating chemical-protective clothing, a simple test method has been developed that allows the prediction of the permeation of an organic solvent through a polymeric membrane. The test method, based on liquid-immersion absorption and desorption measurements, is simple, universal, and can be carried out by technicians with minimal training. |
