Abstract | This report by DOW Chemical, describes their Environmental Stewardship - Customer Waste Reduction program ('WRAP' - Waste Reduction Always Pays). DOW provides their customers with regulatory and technical information to encourage waste reduction, including coaching on 'Best Practical Available Control Technology' (BPACT). Included in the report are economic impact studies for 7 states regarding specialty chlorinated solvents, which also address BPACTs. Also attached to this document are articles on the use of in-house solvent reclamation and solvent conservation techniques. A final attachment is a description of DOW's policy for recovery, reuse and disposal of chlorinated solvents. |
