Abstract |
Sublethal pollutant stress in mussels was clearly detected in a field-monitoring situation and provides an evaluation of several criteria of physiological response. This study presents the necessary coupling of tissue residue analyses to biological effects, a blending of chemistry and biology that is a powerful tool for field monitoring. |
