Abstract | This is a summary of a 420 page report on a sediment and soil loss study of five Illinois lakes and their watersheds conducted by the Illinois State Water Survey as Project 20.085, sponsored by an agreement with the Illinois Institute for Environmental Quality and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. The data was gathered to support the development of a state plan for abatement of agricultural non-point sources of pollution, under provisions of Section 208 of the Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972 (P.L. 92-500). |
