Abstract |
This document provides guidance on the use of triboelectric monitors as fabric filter bag leak detectors. This document includes fabric filter and monitoring system descriptions; guidance on monitor selection, installation, set up, adjustment, and operation; and quality assurance procedures. The monitor set up procedure in this guidance was developed based on testing conducted on shaker and pulse-jet baghouses; however, the guidance is expected to apply to reverse-air baghouses as well. |
