Abstract |
Six full-scale, fixed-bed carbon adsorption systems were tested for vapor-phase volatile organic compound removal efficiency. Solvents used in the systems included methyl ethyl ketone, isopropyl acetate, tetrahydrofuran and toluene. One year after the first tests, repeat testing was performed on four of the original six sites. Removal efficiencies of three adsorption systems were lower during the repeat testing. However, carbon age was not the primary factor involved. |
