Abstract |
The WMAC team at the University of Louisville performed an assessment at a plant that manufactures automotive lighting equipment and accessories. Plant operations include plastic injection molding, metal pressing and punching, painting, and assembly. The team's report, detailing findings and recommendations, indicated that a significant amount of waste is generated through the stripping of paint hooks and parts and that the greatest cost savings could be achieved by installing a plastic media blasting paint stripper. |
