Abstract |
The results of recent studies do not appear to implicate drinking water as a major factor in producing the considerably higher cancer mortality rates in the city of St. Louis than in St. Louis County, pointing instead to such socioeconomic factors as low income, low educational level, and occupation as a laborer and to air pollution. |
