Abstract |
The report describes a study of some problems on the physical aspects of thermal pollution. The mechanisms of formation and maintenance of the characteristic thermal structure of deep, temperate lakes are investigated along with the effects on the basic thermal structure of discharges of waste heat from electric generating plants. |
