Abstract |
Longterm persistence in hydrologic records influences the concept of reservoir firm yield. This study attempted to assess regional and seasonal persistence in U. S. hydrologic records. The attempt was not successful because of the nature of the hydrologic data base and the power of the relevant statistics to separate longterm from shorterm persistence given records of normal hydrologic length. |
